When it comes to mediation, Adam draws from his extensive experience mediating of cases to help identify if there is an opportunity to bridge the gap between parties. Adam understands the nuances and complexities of resolving disputes and is committed to finding solutions wherever possible. When it comes to arbitration, Adam has extensive experience arbitrating cases as counsel and his legal writing has been cited by courts across Canada, including the Supreme Court of Canada, the Ontario Court of Appeal and the BC Court of Appeal.


Commercial Litigation

Adam provides second opinions to litigation clients and routinely represents parties in arbitrations, trials, appeals, injunctions, and other contested hearings. Adam's litigation practice spans all aspects of commercial disputes, with particular expertise in contract cases, franchise disputes, banking law, commercial fraud, manufacturing disputes, class actions, competition litigation, fraud allegations and consumer protection claims. After 15 years at a top litigation firm in Canada, Adam is a skilled litigator who is deeply committed to helping clients navigate the difficult waters of commercial disputes. For appropriate mandates, Adam will work with skilled junior contract lawyers to offer a bespoke solution for litigation clients.


Franchise Law

As former leader of a national franchise practice, Adam has helped franchise clients across the entire lifecycle of a franchise system. Adam offers franchise law services in the following areas and works with junior contract lawyers to offer integrated solutions:

 - drafting and customizing franchise disclosure documents and material change statements;
